HOW TO TAKE GREAT SCREENSHOTS ON ASSETTO CORSA!
ACP COMMUNITY IS VERY CAREFUL and ACTIVE on posting good server related pictures! 😉
This is an handy guide to take better srceenshots during replay (but ofc, works also if you take them meanwhile playing)
Locate to ASSETTOCORSA / SYSTEM / CFG
assetto_corsa.ini
[CAMERA] ALLOW_FREE_CAMERA=1
This allow you to press F7 and move the camera where you want. NOTE: This camera is not focused automatically on the car
Now open camera_onboard_free.ini
SPHERICAL_COORDS=0
This is the F5 Camera. You can now move the camera freely, ALWAYS FOCUSING AUTOMATICALLY ON THE CAR! This is the best way to take good screenshots 🙂
REMEMBER TO TAKE SCREENSHOT with F8 (which is CM screenshot)
ADVANCED CM SETTINGS FOR BETTER SCREENSHOTS!
IF YOU TAKE SCREENSHOT OF REPLAY (less common, but maybe best idea for BEST picture) YOU CAN "CTRL+CLICK" ON A CERTAIN AREA TO FOCUS ON IT! THIS WILL MAKE A BETTER BLUR EFFECT FOR YOUR PICS 🙂
